  2. How did you cut the hole for the seven segment display? I’ve tried a few things so far, but nothing looks that good.

  3. I marked the outline and then drilled small holes at the corners slighly inside those dimensions. I then used a small hobby knife/saw to cut from one hole to the next within the outline. Finally, I used square edge files to flatten out the imperfections in the cuts and square off the corners where the holes were. Square openings are never easy and it usually takes a lot of time with the file to get them looking good. That’s why I start smaller and file it out larger to the square/rectangular dimensions.
